How Speed Dating Works

Speed Dating is a fun and successful way to meet new single people in your area. London Dating Nights have searched the Web to find London’s best speed dating companies.

We currently work with Original Dating and SpeedDater and we list all of their events. In time we might list other companies events once we feel they reach the standards we desire.

What to expect?

A typical speed dating eveing will start at between 7pm and 8pm and people are asked to arrive in good time. Normally a host will give a brief explanatory speech just before the first date of the evening. Ladies will typically remain seated at their table until they have dated all the men. When the bell rings you have a short time to quickly make any notes of your date then the gents move on to their next date in sequential order. When you have met all of your dates the formal part of event finishes, but the hosts do encourage everyone to stay and mingle with the singles you have just met, and you are more than welcome to stay on at the venue and enjoy a drink or two, and to carry on chatting to the people yiou have met.

Matching Process

After the event and you have had time to reflect on the evening, you will be able to visit the speed dating organiser's website to enter your choices. When you have submitted your choices, if you receive a match, (that means when you have ticked someone and they have ticked you in return) you will automatically receive the other person's chosen contact details.

If you feel you didn’t meet anyone suitable and have ticked everyone as a No, the companies we work with wiill offer you another event free of charge.
